Rainy Days!

  Rainy days are a crafters best friend!  I think this statement is true...if you disagree I will take a moment to convince you!  

 With rainy days come...

 - sleepy babies and sleepy kids, a perfect day for them to watch a movie while you play.

 - no reason to go outside for that walk or jog, so just stay in and play!

 - great excuse to cancel plans for anything....stay in and PLAY!!!

  I hope this has convinced you.  I am going to take some time today to work on a few fun pages so you have some great inspiration on your rainy days!  I will be working with the Close To My Heart Flip Flaps.  They are a great way to fit more pictures on your page or even add some creative journaling.  I think you will really like them.

Mistletoe Card Workshop

Following my open house I will be holding a card workshop featuring Close to My Heart Mistletoe Paper Line.  It is such a pretty line...a little old world, a little modern!  It is so much fun to work with...the stamps are AMAZING!!!!  The workshop must be RSVP'd to and is a cost of $25...which I can take over the phone.  If you can't make it, but you still want to make these beautiful cards the full kit can be purchased through me or my website for $29.95 (plus s&h).  I really hope to see you there!  Call or email for further details!

Open House Event!

I am holding my first Close to My Heart event...an OPEN HOUSE!!!!
When: November 21, 2010   2pm-4:30pm

I am so excited to do this.  I  can't wait to share with all of you the beautiful things that you can make (or have me make for you).  I will be giving away a door prize for the day, a goodie bag for anyone who shows up, and a make and take card.  I hope to see a lot of people there so that I can share my excitement.  Check out the new Magnifique paper line...it's what I will be using for the make and take.  Such a beautiful line of paper...all blues, greens, & browns...mixed together with peacock feathers...it just screams at you to create something beautiful!  RSVP to this event today!
