Classes, Products, New Things to Learn!

I am so excited to get started with Close to My Heart.  I have a class scheduled for November 5...and an Open House in the works for November 6.  It will be a busy weekend, but I really want to get in as much as I can before baby number two makes her debut!  So make sure you mark your calendar for November 6 from 4pm-6pm.  I will be offering a make and take, showing some beautiful samples, and giving everyone the opportunity to ask any questions they might have.  There will also be a shameless amount of chocolate available, as well as some yummy fall treats.  RSVP to my email: sarah.ratchford@yahoo.com.  I can't wait to see you all there!

Today I Make Cards!

Today I will be finishing some affirmation cards.  These are great cards that have a small inspirational phrase or quote.  They are good for helping you feel better physically and mentally.  Some just help you focus on the things you would like from your life.  Either way, these cards are pretty and make a great gift. Just Starting

I am just starting out with a new adventure in paper crafting.  After about 8 years of paper crafting experience...including but not limited to...scrapbooks, card making, altered arts, & invitations, I have decided to really put myself out there and help others to become just as creative!  I love to put my photo memories into something special.  I love the feeling when someone opens a gift or card and realizes you made it special...just for them.  I want others to enjoy the same feelings!  So, I have made the decision to sell Close to My Heart stamping and paper products, teach classes, and (for those who refuse to craft ;-)) make projects for other people.  I hope you enjoy my pictures, musings, and otherwise "fun stuff" that I come across on a day to day basis!   Enjoy...and keep crafting!
